Great Taste LIVE | Nanette Schoenewe "Everybody's" Head Chef

Join us and Everybody's Head Chef Nanette Schoenewe to celebrate New Orleans-inspired food. Nanette is making a Lent staple—Gumbo Z’herbs or green gumbo, plus remoulade with crudite. We’ll have numerous guests. Doug and Tanya Webster, regulars at the Fairfield Farmer’s Market, will discuss how small farmers can diversify product selection and develop other uses for their produce to create a year-round income stream. Tammy Haessler, director of Golden Magnolia Sanctuary, will talk about the critical importance of a community kitchen. Fairfield’s Sustainability Coordinator, Faith Reeves, will share her thoughts on the challenges facing our current food system and the potential solution a Circular Food System could provide. It’s shaping up as a Great Taste not to be missed. Of course, you shouldn’t miss any of the shows now that we’re generally back on a regular second Tuesday of the month schedule.
