Equipment Relocation

FMC has been working with LISCO to relocate fiber optic connections to their broadcast computer after the relocation of FMC’s server rack at City Hall a few weeks ago.  The move was made to increase work space availability at City Hall. FMC hopes to have their webcast and cablecast connections running smoothly before the week’s end.

Having diverse viewing options has proven invaluable to us over the years as our on-demand viewing options remained unaffected. ” Stated Director Strong.

FMC has seen a dramatic increase and distinct move to on-demand and live-streaming viewing options over the past several years. FMC remains committed to having a dedicated cablecast available for our local residents for as long as possible.

FMC makes locally created video content available on-demand to the Fairfield community through two YouTube channels, the FMC website and various social media platforms which are available on mobile devices, computers and smart TV’s.
